Charlie Rhoads

Charlie is the Vice President and Principal of Hebets & Maguire, LLC. In addition Charlie is an Investment Advisor Representative with NFP Securities, Inc. He and his team work with mid to large cap public and private family owned companies in the areas of executive compensation* consulting, valuation, corporate finance consulting, monetization structuring and business succession planning**. He also works with entrepreneurs, real estate developers, financiers, senior corporate executives, professional sports team owners, athletes and entertainers and their families to structure and finance their estate planning**, asset protection, generational asset transfer and charitable contribution strategies.

Before joining Hebets & Maguire, Charlie was a broker with and traded equities and futures for his clients at Morgan Stanley. Previous to that, he was a credit analyst with Wells Fargo. He is a U.S. Navy veteran.

Charlie received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Arizona with minors in Economics and Naval Science and attended the MBA program at the Eller School of Business at the University of Arizona. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, a candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst Program. Charlie maintains his Series 7 (FINRA General Securities Representative), Series 24 (FINRA General Securities Principal), and Series 66 (NASAA Uniform Combined State Law Examination) licenses as well as the Series 3 (Commodities1) and Series 31 (FINRA Futures Managed Funds Examination) licenses. He holds life, disability and health insurance licenses in many states.

Charlie is active in the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council, the Global Equity Organization, the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals, American Association of Life Underwriters, Society of Financial Services Professionals, the Asset Protection Society, National Investment Banking Association, Economic Club of Phoenix and the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Charlie is heavily involved in the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Planned Giving Advisory Committee, the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Leadership Circle, the Naval Special Warfare Foundation and is on the Board of Directors of the Joe Foss Institute and America’s Mighty Warriors.

Charlie is married to his wife Lorraine, a wildlife biologist and they and their children Andrew and Katherine reside in Phoenix, Arizona.
