Sherry McKinnon
As VP of Human Resources, Sherry is responsible for managing the execution of all policies and procedures set forth by National Financial Partners, Corp. (NFP) and Hebets & Maguire for all employees. Her duties encompass hiring, benefits and our compensation structure.
As Vice President of Facility Management, she oversees rental agreements, manages office expenses and supervises all facility preservation with the building management company.
As Executive Assistant to our President, Sherry manages sensitive communications between our clients and advisors. She is responsible for scheduling meetings, travel, preparing all correspondence, as well as planning special events and seminars.
Sherry joined Hebets & Maguire in 2003 with over 22 years of experience in the human resources field, as well as client administration and project management. She serves as the main conduit for all communications between our clients and our advisors to accomplish the firms’ philosophy of a personal approach to Estate Planning, Executive Compensation Consulting and Succession Planning areas of the practice.
Prior to joining us, Sherry was an executive at several firms on the east and west coast. Her various experiences as Senior Director of Human Resources, Executive Director of Operations and Vice President of Communications prepared Sherry perfectly for her role at the firm.
She attended Ohio State University, and has continued her education by attending classes and seminars to keep current on new federal and state laws of employment.
Sherry is actively involved in her church, Scottsdale Hospital North and Childhelp USA. She and her husband, Porter, have been blessed to be married for 35 years, have 6 children and 10 grandchildren.
